The Oxford Living Dictionary defines a ‘Queen’ as a woman or thing regarded as the finest or most outstanding in a particular sphere or group. It is a beautiful thing to see young women make the decision to do the extra, better themselves and make a difference… Guys! I am glad to introduce you to our first-ever woman crush, Dunga Osamezu.
Who is Dunga?
Dunga Dupe Osamezu is a graduate of theatre arts from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She hails from Delta state and she is also the CEO of Dunga’s Collections.

As to how she developed the passion for fashion designing and garment manufacturing, she had this to say……..
‘After finishing secondary school in 2010, I didn’t want to be idle while waiting for jamb. So I decided to learn to tailor, I learned for a year and in 2011 I got a sewing machine and started my own thing. Since then, it’s been awesome!
For Dunga, it is pretty clear that it is not just about sewing, it has a lot to do with creativity…
‘First of all, I love looking good, I love to see people look good, it makes me really happy. Secondly, the idea of tailoring is fascinating, how you utterly destroy (lol) a yard of fabric..only to bring the bits together to make an amazing piece. I also love the fact that tailoring possesses the potential to communicate beyond just covering one’s nakedness.
Future plans…
By God’s grace, Dunga’s collections have become a brand, so I am looking to have a Fashion house in no distant time and an academy where I hope to empower young girls like I was.
