CHAPTER TWENTY THREE (23)

Hollup! Am I the only one who makes so much plans before my next birthday? Not birthday party plans, I mean goals; things I hope to have achieved, or who i feel i should be before officially becoming a year older? Well, I hope everyone else is like me lol.

I turned 23 few days ago and honestly guys I was really wishing deep down in my heart that I could I push the entire month of August a bit further lol, I wasn’t ready to be 23 without achieving  goals I had set out, I really wanted a “BOSS LADY 23”.

It was so bad that I didn’t even make birthday plans, mostly  because like I said I wasn’t so excited, I found out I still have some masses of polyps in my nostrils that need to be removed and partially because I haven’t been making as much money as I hoped I’d been making, so birthday party plans wasn’t really in view.

Thanks to the wonderful people God has placed I’m my life and I have also opened my heart to be friends with, they made me feel very loved, encouraged, valued, appreciated and that made 23 a whole lot better and encouraging. To think that I didn’t really put in much thought about how the day you would go and surprisingly it went well. Yay!

You know what guys? Most times, things are not going to go the way you planned. Life is going to throw challenges at you, most times overwhelming challenges, you’re going to be so tired, you’re going to have a battle of the mind from trying so hard to figure things out. But you know what? BE GRATEFUL; be grateful for life, be grateful for the steps you’ve made so far! Some challenges aren’t meant for you to face alone, you can’t always figure everything out on your own. That’s why you’ve got God and the gift of people.

Most importantly, we have to trust God to help us get our minds right, to direct us, to heal us, to help us. Even when we end up failing, there’s always a God to redirect us.

Though I was really focused on what I did and did not do before, now I’m so grateful for life, the opportunity to keep going and keep pushing it. Geez guys! There’s just so much to do! No time to give up, I’m a freaking global influencer! I have got to be more focused and discipline, I’ve got a lot of work to do!

So lemme just put this out there real quick, since words have power; a year by this time, I’ll have achieved my goals, all I’ll be posting is updates and progress not setbacks and complaints. Leggo!! I hope I encouraged someone as well, being an adult isn’t easy jor!

Lemme also drop this here! Lool

What do you think?
