Hey, fam! How are you all doing? It’s been a minute! I know I have not done a book review in forever lol. Do not mind me, I have read a few books but I been too lazy to write up a review.
Anyways I just started reading this new book and I am already excited about it and I will tell you why. A few weeks ago while I was going through some kind of things, I was praying really hard about the situation and it hit me that my prayer life has been a bit one-sided. By one-sided I mean, it has been like a trade, always about demands, requests, solutions, and more requests, I honestly did feel bad because and I asked myself…what will my prayer life be without requests? So I decided to take out all the requests from my prayer and for a whole week, I could barely pray!
Prayer is a lot more than allowing God to interfere in our affairs, it is more like a fellowship. A meeting where you talk and you allow God to speak as well. More like a Father and a daughter relationship. Answers to prayers come easily when the requests are being channeled appropriately. It helps you understand what God has to say concerning a particular situation in your life.
Not only did I talk to someone about it who gave some very insightful thoughts concerning it, but I also came across this book The Power of a Praying Woman by. I am already some pages in and in can tell that this would bring about a change in the mindset of what prayer is supposed to be. How to pray, what to pray about, whom to pray for, etc.
It is a 304 pages Ebook that is easy to read, you can decide to take it one chapter a day or as many chapters as your time permits you to read daily.
I will be sharing lessons and times from each page from time to time with you guys, I know it says “The Power of a Praying Woman” but I am sure there are lots of benefits attached with being a praying man as well lol. In other words, it is a good, educative and insightful book for all gender.
I would love to read it alongside you guys! So if you are interested, feel free to send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can forward the E-book to you.
Thanks for stopping by, I look forward to sharing this amazing book with you!
